Who Are You Talking To?

I have a friend of mine who is contemplating leaving her spouse. I suggested that she should spend some time with God in His Word so that He can lead her and guide her.

She has her mind made up that there is no hope for her marriage. This is self talk is what I told her. In order to know what God has to say on the matter, I told her she has to get revelation from God.

After I finished talking to her about choices and consequences, she agreed that she does need to spend time with God and in His Word.

God is our protection and he will keep us from hurt, harm and danger. He can help us to cast down thoughts and imaginations that don't bring glory to God.

Here is a scripture that I believe is one to consider when having to make a serious decision:

Proverbs 11:14 – Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. King James Version

In conclusion, divorce is not the will of God and there is no failure in God. Seek wise Godly counsel before making a decision that affects not only you but other family members also.

Talk To The Hand That Protects

Since yesterday was October 31st, the day that Halloween is celebrated, it brought back some scary memories I had as a kid. Here's why:

Growing up in New Orleans was very scary for me. I didn’t know a lot about evil spirits and what to do about them but for some reason, they loved hanging around the house I lived in. I always thought it was because people said that someone was buried under the house. As I would go to bed at night, somewhere during the night, I would see witches and ghosts. Yes, witches and ghosts. It was so scary. When this would happen, I would throw the cover over my head and start calling the name Jesus. I had to remind myself of the warring angels I read about in the Bible that were fighting spiritual wickedness on my behalf. I then was able to go back to sleep in peace. This wasn’t the only thing that made me afraid.

I remember the girl that everyone was afraid of because she could fight really well. So when she wanted to fight me, I reminded myself of the story of David and how he knocked out the giant Goliath that everyone was afraid of. I remember being afraid of being in the house by myself.

The scariest of all my fears was when I had to ride the bus home from my job at McDonald’s while in the 10th grade at 2 a.m. I believe that God dispatched angels to encamp around me so that I made it home safe.

I remember the time when I was standing at the counter of a gas station when a guy decided to pull out a gun to rob it. As the robber pulled out the gun, I looked eye to eye at him but was able to walk away without being hurt. During that situation, I had to pray really fast for God to let no weapon formed against me prosper. I know that there are other children today experiencing some of the fears I had and even more.

I believe that reason I was able to make it through these tough situations was because someone besides myself was praying for me also. Just as I believe that prayer warriors had been praying for me during my childhood, we should definitely intercede on behalf of our youth today.

In the Book of John, Jesus prayed to God for our protection through the power of His name. Pray that God would dispatch angels to watch over his people. Pray that as we teach our children about Jesus, that they will call on His name for protection when they are afraid. As you meditate on scriptures pertaining to protection, let’s believe that God’s grace and mercy will rule, reign and supercede the devil’s weapon that are formed against us to kill, steal and destroy the harvest of souls that are our youth.

“God provides protection for His children, so have no fear for Jesus is always near."

My Mission Is To Reap The Lost - Is It Yours?

What is your mission as a child of the most high God?

If you read Luke 4, you will see that Jesus gives his mission statement. Since we are created in His image and likeness, we should have the same mission. Jesus is concerned about the lost souls - those who don't realize that He died for their sins - let's do what Jesus wants us to do - reap the lost.

During this season of harvest, let's think about what we can do to reap the lost. As you read the new testament books, you will see that Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil.

Do you realize that you have been given the same authority? Just like you can water a plant that seems to be dying to bring life back to it, you can bring life to other's dead situations as you sow the word of God to bring restoration, hope, healing and deliverance to them. Give it a try. The word of God is sharp and powerful and does what God intends for it to do.

The next time you sense in your spirit that you have encountered someone who is walking in darkness and is lost, sow into them the word that the Holy Ghost has given you to reap a soul for the kingdom of God.

Here is Jesus mission statement:

Luke 4:17

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captive, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. King James Version

In conclusion, as you operate in the power and authority that you have been given, you will be able to reap the lost by offering them healing, deliverance and illumination.

This Ghost Will Move You From Fear To Faith

Halloween is only a few days from today. It is a day when people participating in the celebration of Halloween put on costumes that either bring fear to others or characterizes something else that you are familiar with that is harmless. For example, I've seen people dress up as the devil, a witch, a ghost and any other creature that would bring fear to you. I've also seen others dress up as princesses, angels and cuddly animals.

Having Halloween as a holiday that is celebrated during the month that is considered to be the beginning of harvest time is a setup by the Holy Ghost.

God wants to see if you are going to believe in what the devil's ghost and goblins want you to believe about your harvest or what the Holy Ghost has told you about your harvest.

I believe that the enemy wants you to walk in fear during this time instead of faith so that you won't reap the harvest that God has already intended for you to have. He wants you to look at your situation with the natural eye and not with the supernatural power of the Holy Ghost. In other words, he wants you to see your situation as doom and gloom instead of prosperous and purposeful.

Ephesians 6:16 says above all, taking the shield of faith wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. King James Version

In conclusion, as you walk in faith instead of fear, you will be able to cast down thoughts and imaginations that the enemy is trying to put in your mind that don't bring glory to God.

As a child of the most high God, you have been empowered by the Holy Ghost to walk in victory and not as a victim, you have been empowered to walk in faith and not fear and you will be prosperous and not pathetic.

Jesus said that He has given us the power of the Holy Ghost to lead us and guide us. Now what are you going to do with it during this time of harvest?

Do You Have Pumpkin Seed To Sow?

Since this is October, in Jacksonville, Florida, as you drive throughout the city, you will see lots of pumpkin patches. These pumpkin patches usually are visited by families as an outing on a Saturday or Sunday. Some of these pumpkins are huge. The kids visiting the pumpkin patch get to pick out a pumpkin to carve out a funny face on it. Those who look forward to making their favorite and famous pumpkin pies, look forward to picking out pumpkins to wow their family and friends. Basically, what I'm saying here is that the pumpkins are in their season and make great craft activities as well as delicious pumpkin pies.

Well, just like it is harvest time for pumpkin lovers, it is also harvest time for you. Genesis says that as long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest. What you are reaping as a harvest right now is based on what you have sown previously. Just like the pumpkin seeds were sown to produce a harvest during this fall season, you have sown financially and are reaping from it during this fall season as well.

Just like there are huge pumpkins during this harvest season, is your financial increase huge? It is definitely determined by how you sowed financially. When you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly and when you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully. If you want a harvest that is running over an in abundance, then sow accordingly.

In conclusion, know this, as you continue to sow your financial seed,
know that God will multiply it
know tha God will supply all your needs
know that He will give you an abundance of seed to sow
know that there will be a continual flow of His blessings in your life
know that you will walk in His divine sufficiency.

Here is a scripture to mediate on: Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. King James Version

Let's continue to sow our tithes and offerings to reap a financial harvest to the glory of God.

Trick Or Treat?

As I have stated at the beginning of this month - it is harvest time! Now you are wondering how could this be harvest time when people are still jobless, homeless and can't even see when there will be an end to their financial stresses.

The reason I can say this is because Jesus is still Lord of the harvest. He says in Genesis that as long as the earth remains there will be seedtime and harvest. You have not been tricked by God. God's word is true.

Now you will be tricked if you choose to listen the words that the enemy is feeding you such as telling you that you don't have to continue tithing and giving since you are unsure of what the economy will be like in the future. Don't give into the lie. God's resource NEVER runs out. You just need to know how to tap into them.

Now here's where the treat comes in, read Malachi 3:11 - it says:

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake, and he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, niether shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, said the Lord of host. King James Version

In conclusion, as you continue to tithe and give during this season of economic uncertainty, God says that you will reap a harvest in the season that you are supposed to as you walk in obedience and in faith.

Go Get The Harvest Of Souls

There are many individuals during this time of uncertainty looking for answers to life's questions. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth and the life. Then there are those of us who already know this and have a duty of enlightening others of this revelation.

So why aren't we doing this? Well, I know we have jobs, families and other obligations but our main focus should be for the harvest of souls. There was no question about whether or not this was Jesus agenda. Not only did He let everyone know that He had to be about His father's business but He demonstrated it by compelling men to be saved.

Keep this word near you as you go to work, shop, travel, etc.

Matthew 9:37

Then said he to all his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few. King James Version

In conclusion, as soon as you accept your calling to win souls to the kingdom, you not only will be fulfilling one of your purposes but also help someone else to come to know the one and only true and living God - the Lord of the harvest.

Expect Your Abundant Harvest To Come!

The struggle is over! You are a child of the most High God. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, all the gold is His and all the silver. As you tap into your inheritance that is due because of being in covenant with God, you can expect your abundant fiancial harvest to come.

Let's think about this for a minute. God wants us to acknowledge Him as our source. He is our strength and He gives us the wisdom we need to get the wealth that He has already predestined for us to have. As long as you keep things in perspective and not think that it is of your own strength and your own wisdom, then you will begin to experience your financial breakthrough.

You also need to know that God is blessing you to be a blessing. He is not going to increase you if you are selfish. You have to be about God's business and be a blessing to the kingdom. If this is not your attitude, then you harvest will leave you so fast until you won't be able to figure out what happened.

Here is a scripture to meditate on:

Leviticus 23:10

Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, when ye be come into
the land which I give unto you and shall reap the harvest thereof then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest. King James Version

In conclusion, as you begin to see your financial harvest come to fruition, you are to acknowlege God first by bringing your first fruit to your local church. This will not only be a blessing to you but for those who will be coming to the house for assistance.

During Harvest Time, Put God First And Receive His Provision For All Your Needs

If seems like most christians today are spending a lot of time worrying about their money, bills and anything else that has to do with money.

This is not the will of the Lord. God wants you to be free and delivered from those worries. As a child of the most high God, you are to walk in financial freedom and victory because you KNOW that God will supernaturally provide your every need.

As you are obedient in giving your tithes and offerings to God first, God will not only meet your needs but also enable you to live in a cycle of God's supernatural provisions where you reap God's abundance and all your needs are continually met. You will also operate in overflow in your finances and be a blessing to others in the kingdom of God.

Here is the scripture to meditate on so that you walk in faith and not fear, do the will of God and not worry:

Matthew 6:31-33

Therefore, take no thought saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink? or Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But see ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. King James Version

So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to. The Living Bible

In conclusion, this is the will for God in your life, that you live in a cycle of His supernatural provision where you continually draw from God all that you need because it is harvest time!

It's Harvest Time

Today there was a change in the temperature here in Jacksonville, Florida. The leaves will be changing colors shortly. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. Christmas will be celebrated by family and friends to close out the year.

Since this is the last quarter of the year, we should be evaluating what changes we need to make in order to finish out the year strong.

What is it that you set as a goal at the beginning of the year? Are you closer to getting it accomplished? What do you need to do to ensure that you accomplish it?

Here is a scripture that comes to mind when I think of this time of year:

Genesis 8:22

As long as the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. King James Version

What this verse says to me is that there is a proper time to sow and there is a proper time to reap. In order to reap, you have to sow. What are you sowing? Is it time for you to reap your harvest?

In conclusion, once you have evaluated where you are, do everything in the power of God to end this year reaping your harvest.

Is Child Trafficking A Business Decision?

Absolutely NOT - under no circumstances. I was watching the news today and it broke my heart. I am not a person who gets emotional about things but this one caught my attention.

The report was about how in the United States of America, yes, there is child trafficking taking place. There are children as young as 10 years old who are involved in this. The news reporter interviewed a young girl that had started doing child trafficking at the age of 13. She said that she gets paid $600 a day. It was a "business decision" she said. Why in the name of Jesus does a 13 year need $600 a day? I know what it is, it is the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life as indicated in the Bible.

Please pray for the sins of this world so that our family members will be saved before Jesus returns. Here is a scripture to meditate on:

John 8:34-36
Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belong to it forever. So if the son sets you free, you will be free in deed. New International Version

In conclusion, there is hope for these children when they accept Jesus Christ into their heart. Jesus will free them from the hand of the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy them. I pray that someone introduces them to Jesus before it is too late. In the meantime, keep praying while utilizing your kneeling prayer pillow.

Starbucks and McDonald's Gourmet Coffee And Sin - What Do They Have In Common?

We are living in a generation where Starbucks, McDonald's and other restaurants are offering gourmet coffees and teas which happen to taste pretty good. I'm quite sure that Folger's will be coming out with their gourmet coffee soon - that's of course is only if they want to keep up with the competition.

So what does these gourmet coffees and sin have in common? Well, you be the judge. I was reading a comment on facebook where someone indicated that a young lady brought a cup of coffee to church and dranked it during the church service. Several people thought that it was so wrong to do to the point that they started sinning.

Here is a scripture that I believe would have been more appropriate to consider in this situation.

Galatians 6:1

Bretheren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness considering thyself lest thy also be tempted. King James Version

In conclusion, I believe the right thing to do was to have pulled over the sister at the end of service and find out if she is saved and then find out if she is looking for a church home, etc. In other words, show some type of love. She may be a babe in Christ and just don't know any better. Maybe the church she was attending is ok with drinking coffee durng service. I guess we'll never know. In the meantime, I believe that the person who started the thread to gossip about this should get a kneeling prayer pillow and spend some time in prayer on how to handle this type of situation if it happens again.

Go Ahead And Pursue - God's Got Your Back

During this time of lack and economic downfall, many christians are falling prey to giving in and listening to what the enemy is telling them about their financial situation. Churches all over are suffering because of the decrease of tithes and offerings. This is not the time to drawback but to push forward.

Push forward with what you may say. Push forward by spending time in prayer with the Lord. He will help you to know what your purpose is during this time of famine so that you can operate in increase and not lack, be the lender and not the borrower, possess the land and not become homeless. Prayer is so powerful. When you spend time with God, he will give you revelation. Once he gives you revelation, you will have to step out in faith and believe that God's word is true.

I was able to minister today and challenge everyone in the service to spend time in prayer to first of all repent for not being a good steward over everything God has placed in their possession and then to ask God to show them their gift and what it is they are to be doing in the kingdom with that gift.

Here is a scripture to meditate on during your time of prayer:

Acts 26:18

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. King James Version

To open their eyes to their true conditions so that they may repent and live in the light of God instead of in Satan's darkness so that they may receive forgiveness for their sins and God's inheritance along with all people everywhere who's sins are cleansed away who are set apart by faith in me. The Living Bible

In conclusion, as you utilize your kneeling prayer pillow, let God minister to you in the area of your gifting so that you can be a blessing to the kingdom during this drought. Remember that Issac sowed in the famine and received a harvest one hundredfold in the same year.

Can You Be Forgiven If You Keep Commiting The Same Sin?

I was watching TBN today and David G. Evans was on the Benny Hinn show talking about grace and forgiveness of sins. He made reference to several scriptures pertaining to grace. He also said that grace is not a license to sin. Benny Hinn asked was there ever a point when grace would not work anymore. David G. Evans let him know that God is long suffering but does not suffer to eternity with sin.

There is going to come a day when sin is not going to be as enjoyable as it once was. The Bible says that sin is pleasureable for a season. Let's not keep repeating that season. As you take time to read God's word and pray on your kneeling prayer pillow, you will get closer to God. As you get closer to God, your flesh will have to take a back seat to the Holy Spirit.

Here is a scripture to meditate on as you reflect and repent of your sins.

Psalms 86:5 – For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. King James Version

Can You Forgive Yourself While Doing Body Gospel

I was watching television and saw an infomercial for Body Gospel by Donna Richardson Joyner and begin to think about how this workout plan is blessing saints in the area of health. I know this month I am supposed to be writing on forgiveness of sins and you are probably thinking what does working out has to do with forgiveness of sins.

Well, the Bible says that our bodies are the temple of God. Like it or not, some of us have not done things in moderation which led so many saints down the wrong road - the road of sin. The Bible says that if you know to do good and don't then that is sin. Overeating is a sin. It causes our bodies to not be energized and not function the way it is supposed to. It also causes us to spend more money on eating than we should.

Just like it isn't too late to decide to exercise and eat right, it is never too late to repent and ask God for forgiveness of sins. Here is a verse on forgiveness of sins to start with:

I John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. King James Version

In conclusion, I believe that as you make up your mind to start eating right and exercise by using Body Gospel, God will begin to rebuild your temple for his glory. Don't forget to utilize your kneeling prayer pillow as you pray to God for forgiveness of sins.

Talk To The Hand That Forgives Sins

This month I want to concentrate on scriptures pertaining to forgiveness of sins. As you utilize your kneeling prayer pillow, confess your sins to God, repent and be renewed in your mind. Here is a story about how I got to know for myself that God forgive sins.

When I first got married, I married a football player. The reason I married him was because of his love for God. His life was so disciplined. He would get up every morning at 5 a.m. and light a candle and begin to pray and meditate. After he did that for an hour, he would read the Bible. He then would write down a scripture to carry around in his pocket to meditate on and memorize as he went about his day. He would also read self help books such as “The Power of Positive Thinking”. To me, he was the ideal man since I believed that he loved the Lord just as much as I did or even more. Any time there was a major thing for us to accomplish, he would designate a certain time for us to pray together on the matter. Without a doubt, God answered our prayers and the thing that we believed God for came to pass. Well, some kind of way the devil crept into my husband. I still have that image in my head from the day that I opened up the closet door and saw him sitting in it with a pipe, a coke can and a lighter. At the time, I didn’t understand it because I had never witnessed anything like this before because I spent 4 out of 7 days a week in church. That was the beginning of the end. We went to counseling sessions several times over a 7 year period and eventually we ended up getting a divorce. To me, this was the worst thing that I could have done in life. I know that there was no such thing as big sins and little sins, but to me, I committed the biggest sin that I could have ever done. Not that I hadn’t done any other things but to me this was the sin that couldn’t be forgiven. I know that there are others who have the same concept themselves. It may not be divorce but it could be adultery, stealing or fornication just to name a few. Whatever it is, there is forgiveness. I found this out once I spent some one on one time with the Lord. During my time of fellowship and meditation, I thought about how Peter did what he may have thought was the worst thing that he could have done as he denied the Lord three times. It wasn’t until Jesus came back from the dead with a word of instruction for Peter that he realized that he was forgiven and also still could be used by God to continue his plan for the lost. God finishes what He starts and just as he let Peter know that there was work for him to do, he is not through with me or you either. It is very crucial that we know that we cannot let what Jesus did on the cross at Calvary be in vain. As we ask Him daily for forgiveness of sins, we are to accept his grace and mercy and continue to pray for the harvest of souls who need forgiveness of their sins also.

“His blood was shed in love and love covers a multitude of sin, let’s not take Him to the cross again.”

Do You Realize That You Need Strength Even Though You Are Saved?

I have heard people say that once they get saved, everything is going to be all right. They think that they won't have to deal with the same problems they had before they got saved. Yes this is true in a sense. The way you won't have to deal with the same problems is by changing your attitude about your problems.

For instance, if your problem was a lack of finances, now that you are saved, your focus will be on trusting in God's word for Him to meet your every need. As you read God's word, you will find out all of the benefits that we have now that we are in the family of God.

Here is a scripture that is great to meditate on when you need strength to trust God to meet your needs.

Psalms 28:7-8

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. King James Version

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. New International Version

He is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trusted in him, and he helped me. Joy rises in my heart until I burst out in songs of praise to him. The Lord protects his people and gives victory to his anointed king. The Living Bible

In conclusion, as you take time to read God's word, meditate on the word and trust that God's word is true, you will be strengthen to have joy in your heart to the point that you will want to give thanks and praise to God for meeting your every need.

Don't forget to use your kneeling prayer pillow as you spend time with God to be strengthened now that you are saved.

Get Strength To Be Redeemed Back To God

Have you ever asked someone if they are saved and get the reply of "I used to be saved". There is no such thing as "used to be saved". You either are or you aren't. This type of response shows the level of maturity of the individual who is questioned. I will show you how you will never have to say this again.

Salvation is forever! I believe that when individuals find themselves struggling with sins on a daily basis, they begin to get the mindset of "I used to be saved". The Bible says for us to lay aside every sin and weight that easily beset us. When we don't fellowship with the saints, read God's Word and pray to God daily, our spirit man isn't able to grow and mature. In order to be strengthened, we have to study the Word of God and spend time with God daily. In our time of weakness we should pray to God for strength. You may even get a prayer partner that you can be accountable to.

In order to get the assurance you need about your salvation, take 60 seconds and pray to God so that you can be strengthened and redeemed back to a right relationship with God:

Psalms 19:14

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O Lord my strength, and my redeemer. King James Version

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer. New International Version

May my spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing even to you, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer. The Living Bible

In conclusion, when you utilize your kneeling prayer pillow to read God's Word, Pray according to God's Word, Know what God want you to do through revelation, Then Go do what God wants you to do, you will get your strength back. You will no longer say that "I used to be saved". Thank God for salvation, strength and redeeming us.

While Utilizing Your Kneeling Prayer Pillow, Find Out If You On The Right Pathway

2 Samuel 22:32-33 says For who is God save the Lord? and who is a rock save our God? God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. King James Version

For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. New International Version

Our Lord alone is God; e have no other Savior. God is my strong fortress; He has made me safe. The Living Bible

As I read that scripture, I began to ponder on the thought of being on the right path in life. I have encountered numerous people who have been in jobs for years but feel unfulfilled. I believe it is because they aren't operating in their God given gift.

So you may say, how do I find out what my God given gift is? Well, the way you find out is by spending time with God. You can also look at the family tree on both sides of the family to see what the family gift is. You will be surprised to find out that you are probably already operating in your gift. For example, if your great grandmother was a nurse, your mother was a social worker and now you want to be a school teacher, you will see that your family is gifted with the gift of service. All of these jobs offer service of some sort.

So what do you do when God reveals to you your gift? You can begin to thank God for his revelation and ask him to give you the strength to start transitioning over into your gift if you aren't already operating in it. He is our Lord and Savior and can help you when it seems impossible.

In conclusion, as you utilize your kneeling prayer pillow during your prayer time, God will give you the strength to implement kingdom strategies that He download to you so that you can get on the pathway that he has already predestined for you. Do not be afraid to change paths. You are never too old and it's never too late to start. When you get weak, ask God for His strength. Know that you have a harvest of souls to reach as you operate in your gift.

Using The Kneeling Prayer Pillow Will You Be Strengthened While In A Sinful State

I guess you would probably say that someone who is sinning wouldn't dare think to go to God in prayer. Well, I beg to differ. Jesus hung out with the sinners so that He could be a light in their dark situations to give them hope.

Yes you can give someone who is in a sinful state a kneeling prayer pillow so that when they decide to repent, they can fall on their knees and get back in right relationship with God.

So the next time you want to encourage someone while in their sinful state, here is a scripture they can meditate on to get strength:

Romans 5:6-8

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we wer yet sinners, Christ died for us. King James Version

You see at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man though for a good man someone might dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. New International Version

When we were utterly helpless with no way of escape, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners who had no use for him. Even if we were good, we really wouldn't expect anyone to die for us, though of course that might be barely possible. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. The Living Bible

In conclusion, never give up on the sinner. Jesus didn't and niether should we. Continue to spend time meditating on the Word while using your kneeling prayer pillow so that you can offer strength through the Word.

Can You Be Strengthened When Using Your Kneeling Prayer Pillows In The House Of God?

Today is Wednesday. This is the day that the major of churches have their mid-week church service. I'm not sure if people go to the alter to kneel and pray during mid-week service like they probably would during a prayer meeting service.

Every now and then during the mid-week service, the Holy Spirit compels individuals to go to the alter to kneel and pray. Some of them are there for a while but at that time, I don't believe that they are concerned about whether their knees are hurting or not since they are so caught up in the moment.

I know I was caught up one Friday night service and I danced for hours before the Lord. I took no thought about how I was going to feel the next day. When the service was over, I was actually strengthened not only in the spirit but in the natural as well. But dancing is different than kneeling to pray in the sense that our knees are more sensitive when used.

Utilizing a kneeling prayer pillow during your time of prayer for an extended period of time will not only benefit you spiritually but also prevent you from having problems with your knees because of kneeling on them. Here is a scripture that I feel expresses my heart about being in the house of God.

Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the giver of strength:

Psalms 84:4

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house; they will be still praising thee. Selah. Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. King James Version

Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. New International Version

How happy are those who can live in your Temple, singing your praises. Happy are those who are strong in the Lord, who want above all else to follow your steps. The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

Thank you God for strengthening me as I go to your sanctuary. My desire is to be more like you. As I pray, help me to be transformed into your image.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

God wants me to be glad to come to the house of God to pray, praise and walk out his promises. I am to be a living example of God in the earth to the world.

Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

God wants me to fellowship with the saints in his house and invite others who don't know him to come and get to know Him as thier Lord and Saviour.

In conclusion, a kneeling prayer pillow can be used in the house of God as well as in your personal home. Let's get to the house of God as often as we can so that we can be strengthen for what God has planned for our lives.

Can You Use Your Kneeling Prayer Pillow To Talk To The Hand That Strengthens To Offer Up Praise?

I feel my help coming as I get up from praying on my kneeling prayer pillow! I say this as I read the 41st chapter of Psalms earlier today because of what someone else is experiencing at this time in his life. I see how God comes to the rescue of His people in times of trouble and despair.

The Old Testament Books are filled with stories for our example of the goodness of the Lord. He knows that we will have times of weakness because of what we have been anointed to do for the kingdom. The enemy wants us to give up and believe that the thing that we know that God has told us would come to pass won't happen. But God is always on top of Him game. He strengthens us in the midst of it all.

As He strengthens us to persevere and manifest, we are to remember to offer up praise, adoration and glory to God for the things that He has done as we pray on our kneeling prayer pillow. The following scripture is an example of what we should do to show thanksgiving to God.

Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the giver of strength:

Psalms 81:1-2

Sing aloud unto God our strength; make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. King James Version

Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob! Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre. New International Version

The Lord makes us strong! Sing praises! Sing to Israel's God! Sing, accompanied by drums; pluck the sweet lyre and harp. The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

Thank you Jesus for knowing when I get weak. Thank you for coming to my rescue. You will never leave me or forsaken me.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

God wants me to give praise to Him as He is with me through the thick and the thin, my highs and my lows and my valleys and my victories.

Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

God wants me to let others know that if they will trust God as they go through, He will strengthen them along their journey. When they are strengthened, they are to be mindful to offer up praise and adoration to Him.

In conclusion, we are to offer up praise as we are strengthened. Praise is a sign of rejoicing to the Lord that let's him know that we believe that everything is going to be all right. By the way, you can offer up praise to God as you utilize your kneeling prayer pillow to pray without ceasing.

Talk To The Hand That Strengthens For Both Riches And Honor

Have you thought about what life would be like if you obtained riches and honor? Would you buy that big house you always dreamed about living in? Would you buy that one of a kind special designed car that you want to drive? Would you help the poor and the needy?

These are valid questions since these next 10 years have been declared as the years that God is going to transfer the wealth of the wicked to the righteous. This will be done in order for God to establish His kingdom on earth and to get the glory that is due Him.

So you may be saying, why do I need strength for both riches and honor? Well have you gotten a lump sum of money in the past and instead of tithing 10 percent and blessing the poor and needy with another 5 percent, you decided to splurge on clothes, food and lavish vacations? This is why, we are living in the last days and we need to be kingdom minded with ou finances. The gospel has gotten to be preached throughout the world before Jesus returns. Of course, this requires money.

So when you get the wealth that God has already predestined for you to have, take time out to hear from God so that you can know what it is He would have you to do.

Here is the scripture that sparked this thought process:

Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the giver of strength for both riches and honor:

I Chronicles 29:12

Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all. King James Version

Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt nd give strength to all. New International Version

Riches and honor come from you alone, and you are the Ruler of all mankind; your hand controls power and might and it is at your discretion that men are made great and given strength. The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

Thank you Jesus for choosing to bless me with riches and honor. I pray that I will be grateful enough to be a blessing to others and bring honor and glory to you name because of how you blessed me.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

God wants me to be mindful of his kingdom agenda and have the strength to do his good and perfect will once I am blessed with riches and honor.

Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

God wants me to have compassion on those who don't know Jesus as Lord and Saviour and the provider of riches and honor so that they will want to get to know Him as their Lord and provider.

In conclusion, it sounds good to say what we will do if we obtain a certain level of riches but it is a totally different thing when it really actually manifest. Continue to believe God for your inheritance and seek Him for strength to do the right thing when you receive it.

Talk To Him Who Strengthens You To Seek His Face Continually Through Time Management

Even though there are 24 hours in a day, it seems as if we aren't able to give God 60 seconds or 60 minutes of our time on a everyday basis in thanksgiving and adoration. Keep in mind that as a form of thanks and gratitude, we are to take time to reflect on the blessings of the Lord through spending time with Him in prayer. It all boils down to the point that we need to do better in time management.

The reason the kneeling prayer pillows were birth into my spirit was because I wanted to spend some quality time seeking God for direction, wisdom and just to be able to offer up thanks. In order to do this, time management had to become a priority.

You probably want to know how the kneeling prayer pillows played a role in this concept of seeking God's face. Well, first of all, the kneeling prayer pillows are made of velour/velvet fabric. This fabric feels fabulous. Secondly, the kneeling prayer pillow has embroidered on it "pray without ceasing". This is definitely a reminder to me that I need to pray daily. So, I decided to develop my time management skills and came up with a time and place.

Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the giver of strength to seek God's face:

I Chronicles 16:11-13

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. King James Version

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles and the judgments he pronounced, O descendants of Israel his servant, O sons of Jacob his chosen ones. New International Version

Seek the Lord, seek his strength and seek his face untiringly. O descendants of his servant Abraham, O chosen sons of Jacob, remember his mighty miracles and his marvelous miracles and his authority. The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

Thank you Jesus for spending time with me in prayer as I seek your face for direction and wisdom.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

God wants me to reflect on his goodness and grace and spend time with him offering up thanks and adoration towards him for his mighty works and miracles.

Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

God wants me to remind others that they should find time throughout each day to spend time communing with God so that they can receive strength daily.

In conclusion, it is a good practice to decide on a set time and set place to meet with God daily through time management. It would be no different than setting up time to go shop, work, etc.

I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent us on that journey and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then! The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

August 10th Utilize Your Kneeling Prayer Pillow To Talk To The One Who Strengthens In Time Of Fear

Many people are going through trying times right now and are operating in fear instead of faith. The kneeling prayer pillows were birth into my spirit as I was going through a process years ago which tried to make me operate in fear instead of faith. Instead of trying to figure out how to move forward on my own, I began to spend time in prayer so that I could get revelation from God on the matter. Since my prayer time went from 5 to 10 minutes daily to 60 minutes, I definitely needed a kneeling prayer pillow. I was able to focus without discomfort while utilizing my kneeling prayer pillow and received instructions, encouragement and strength. Because of the righteousness of Christ, I was able to make right choices and decisions during my process. Now I am able to encourage others on the power of prayer and perseverance in times of fear. Here is a scripture that I was able to read and meditate on that strengthened me and helped me to move from fear to faith.

Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the one who gives strength:

Isaiah 41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. King James Version

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. New International Version

Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

Thank you Jesus for choosing me and placing me in your kingdom. This verse was consolation to me as I was going through a painful and fearful time in my life. Thank you for letting me know that I had nothing to fear because of who you are to me.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

God wants me to know that when I am confronted with situations that try to move me from faith to fear, I can spend time with him in prayer and get assurance that I serve a God who knows what I am experiencing and will come to my rescue.
Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

God wants me to strengthen others in their time of fear as I testify to them of how God strengthened me when I spent time with Him in prayer. They too can move from fear to faith through having a right relationship with Jesus Christ.

Are you going through a time of fear? Take 60 seconds or 60 minutes and go to God in prayer so that you too can be strengthened in your process. The kneeling prayer pillows I am referencing can be previewed here http://createaprayerpillow.com

At different intervals during the day, you may want to take these scriptures on strength and meditate on them as you use your travel prayer pillow on the way to work, on the way to church or on a short getaway to be with God. God help us to tap into your strength as we go through.

Write down what God's will is for you as the one who strengthens based on the memorized verse:

While utilizing my kneeling prayer pillow, I don't have to rush through hearing from God. When I am going through my time of suffering, I want to know what God's will is for me. I will meditate on the word pertaining to strength that comes with the travel prayer pillow so that I may be encouraged to go through to the glory of God.

Write down what God wants you to go and do based on His strength to reap the harvest:

Once I go through, that doesn't dictate that I stop using my kneeling prayer pillow for prayer. I have been strengthened in the process and want others to know as they go through they too can tap into the strength that comes from God. Utilizing the kneeling prayer pillow or the travel size pillow will be suitable to use regardless to whether you are going to pray for 60 seconds or 60 minutes. But when you know that you will be going through a process, I would recommend using the kneeling prayer pillow until you are strengthened and stablished.

August 2nd Talk To The Hand That Strengthens

It was 2002, everything was about to change for the good I thought. I had everything mapped out. I was going to buy the new 2003 BMW 740 edition. I had seen it at the 2002 car show. It was $67,000. I didn’t care because I was going to be free of all bills. I didn’t have a care in the world. No marital problems, no children problems and no health problems until everything hit the fan. Everything that was ok became major problem situations overnight. I felt like Job. The occurrence of these events sent me into uncharted territory and I was either going to sink or swim. Well, I chose to swim. Thank God for Christian television. I started watching TBN every chance I got. I started going to prayer meetings at the church every week. I started reading my Bible with seriousness because I seriously needed to hear from God to know how to handle these situations and it happened. One day as I was looking and listening for revelation, I was told that I had to take my prayer life to another level. I needed to find a set time and place to spend time with God for an hour. This is what I did because I believed God was ready for me to do His will and not mine anymore. My assignment wasn’t going to be birth over night. I had to go through the process. Everything that I knew had to be tested. Just like Job was strengthen and increased in the end, I too am strengthened and increased. I realized that when I was weak that is really when I became strong. When I didn’t know what to do, I asked him to do what he knew to do; when I couldn’t see my way out, I asked him to lead the way and when it looked like all hope was lost, I asked him to give me the victory. I read about Jesus being the source of my strength and heard others talk about him being the source of their strength and now that I had been tried by the situations that I encountered, I can now say that I have experienced God’s strength. If you were to ask anyone who I am close to one thing about me, they would say that I am a strong woman. This strength didn’t come easy for me. We all have a cross to bear, Jesus did and you will too. I believe that this is why this scripture is in the Bible “when I am weak, that’s when I’m strong”. When we are confronted with situations that try to tell us we are weak, we have to tap into the lion of Judah that is within us which is Christ our Saviour. I pray that as you turn to God through hearing from the man or woman of God, reading and meditating on God’s word and praying to God for His will to be done, strength will come to you and as you are strengthened, you will be able to minister strength to the harvest of souls who are weak and need strength.

“Mental and moral strength from the Lord will rid you of any discord, now keep your mind on God and on one accord.”

Talk To The Hand That Gives Power

When I was 7 years old, my two cousins and I would walk to the neighborhood church to attend the Sunday services. One day, we decided that we would give our lives to Christ. We were baptized and continued to attend the church for Sunday service as well as other functions. I had no idea at the time as to why I gave my life to Christ at such an early age but I’m glad I did. As I got older, I began to look back over my life and while praying, I asked God to reveal to me why he chose to save me at an early age and this is what he showed me. He let me see all of the various issues I had to deal with as a child that could have had me in a mental institution if I didn’t know who He was and who I was in Him. He let me see that as I began reading the Bible how blessed I was. I read the whole Bible through 4 different times and in 3 different versions, the King James, the English and the New International Version. When the church would have Bible games, he let me see that he empowered me to win every time because I was diligent in reading the Word and memorizing scriptures. He let me see that this was what motivated me to study God’s word even more. This may not have been a motivator for others but it motivated me and by the age of 13, I was selected to teach a Sunday School class of 4, 5 and 6 year olds and until this day, I am a teacher of pre-schoolers. As I begin to teach, this strengthened my knowledge of the word even more. This is what the word does, it empowers. God also showed me how the Word is what came to my mind when I was confronted with choices as I began to date. He reminded me of a time when I was in a room with a guy as a young adult in college almost about to do some “fleshly” things. Before I was able to make the wrong choice, the word came to me that my body was God’s temple and that I was to keep it clean, pure, Holy and undefiled. I began to think about the story I taught on Joseph and had to do like Joseph did when he was in a compromising position with the king’s wife – Run! Read his story and see the reward he got for being faithful to the one who had rule over him in the natural. We too will be rewarded even more for being faithful to the ultimate ruler – God Almighty. As I heard T. D. Jakes, say “the Word will work if you work it”, I can testify that this is a true saying. I’m quite sure that there are times when you are confronted with making a decision to do what you know to be the right thing to do. I know that the word that you read and meditated on will empower you to choose to do what is right in the sight of God. Just as I was empowered through the reading, studying and meditating of God’s word, you can also be empowered by doing the same thing. As you mediate on the following scriptures this month, let the Holy Spirit continue to empower you to make the right choices to bring about a change in the situations, dilemmas and challenges that are faced today by you and the harvest of souls you will be praying for God to empower.

“Anytime you’re feeling weak, immediately the power of God’s word you should seek.”
