As I read Luke 10:1-9 tonight, I begin to reflect on what our task is now that Christ has left us here on earth to continue the work that He set out to do.
What is it that Christ came to do? He came to destroy the works of the devil according to I John 3:8. The works of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy. Do you see the works of the devil at work in your life or someone you know life? If so, then you have a task to do. Jesus came to do minister grace, love, peace and a life of abundance to those who serve Him. With this in mind, we are to share the love of God with those who the devil has attacked to the point that they are left lifeless.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. As we encounter the lifeless, they are to gain life because of the life of Christ within us. Peace should over shadow their confused mindset as we minister to their trying situation. They will be empowered by the Holy Ghost to want to live again and experience the abundant life that is available to them through Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, as you encounter others who are going through life without hope, defeated and lifeless, be mindful of the task that we have been given for the harvest truly is great but the laborers are few. I pray that the Lord will send forth laborers into His harvest.
Pray for 60 seconds or 60 minutes in comfort

What Will You Harvest In The Last Quarter of 2011?
I read an article today that talked about the corn crop and how some farmers are nervous because of the exceptionally hot weather. The other reason this is a concern is because next month is the beginning of harvest time.
Just as these farmers are nervous about their harvest of corn, are you nervous about what God told you that you are to harvest?
No need to fear because the Word of God is near!
Genesis 8:22 says "while the earth remaineth seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease".

My Mission Is To Reap The Lost - Is It Yours?
What is your mission as a child of the most high God?
If you read Luke 4, you will see that Jesus gives his mission statement. Since we are created in His image and likeness, we should have the same mission. Jesus is concerned about the lost souls - those who don't realize that He died for their sins - let's do what Jesus wants us to do - reap the lost.
During this season of harvest, let's think about what we can do to reap the lost. As you read the new testament books, you will see that Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil.
Do you realize that you have been given the same authority? Just like you can water a plant that seems to be dying to bring life back to it, you can bring life to other's dead situations as you sow the word of God to bring restoration, hope, healing and deliverance to them. Give it a try. The word of God is sharp and powerful and does what God intends for it to do.
The next time you sense in your spirit that you have encountered someone who is walking in darkness and is lost, sow into them the word that the Holy Ghost has given you to reap a soul for the kingdom of God.
Here is Jesus mission statement:
Luke 4:17
The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captive, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. King James Version
In conclusion, as you operate in the power and authority that you have been given, you will be able to reap the lost by offering them healing, deliverance and illumination.

Do You Have Pumpkin Seed To Sow?
Since this is October, in Jacksonville, Florida, as you drive throughout the city, you will see lots of pumpkin patches. These pumpkin patches usually are visited by families as an outing on a Saturday or Sunday. Some of these pumpkins are huge. The kids visiting the pumpkin patch get to pick out a pumpkin to carve out a funny face on it. Those who look forward to making their favorite and famous pumpkin pies, look forward to picking out pumpkins to wow their family and friends. Basically, what I'm saying here is that the pumpkins are in their season and make great craft activities as well as delicious pumpkin pies.
Well, just like it is harvest time for pumpkin lovers, it is also harvest time for you. Genesis says that as long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest. What you are reaping as a harvest right now is based on what you have sown previously. Just like the pumpkin seeds were sown to produce a harvest during this fall season, you have sown financially and are reaping from it during this fall season as well.
Just like there are huge pumpkins during this harvest season, is your financial increase huge? It is definitely determined by how you sowed financially. When you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly and when you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully. If you want a harvest that is running over an in abundance, then sow accordingly.
In conclusion, know this, as you continue to sow your financial seed,
know that God will multiply it
know tha God will supply all your needs
know that He will give you an abundance of seed to sow
know that there will be a continual flow of His blessings in your life
know that you will walk in His divine sufficiency.
Here is a scripture to mediate on: Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. King James Version
Let's continue to sow our tithes and offerings to reap a financial harvest to the glory of God.

During Harvest Time, Put God First And Receive His Provision For All Your Needs
If seems like most christians today are spending a lot of time worrying about their money, bills and anything else that has to do with money.
This is not the will of the Lord. God wants you to be free and delivered from those worries. As a child of the most high God, you are to walk in financial freedom and victory because you KNOW that God will supernaturally provide your every need.
As you are obedient in giving your tithes and offerings to God first, God will not only meet your needs but also enable you to live in a cycle of God's supernatural provisions where you reap God's abundance and all your needs are continually met. You will also operate in overflow in your finances and be a blessing to others in the kingdom of God.
Here is the scripture to meditate on so that you walk in faith and not fear, do the will of God and not worry:
Matthew 6:31-33
Therefore, take no thought saying what shall we eat or what shall we drink? or Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But see ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. King James Version
So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to. The Living Bible
In conclusion, this is the will for God in your life, that you live in a cycle of His supernatural provision where you continually draw from God all that you need because it is harvest time!
