Take 60 seconds and meditate on the following scripture pertaining to the giver of life:

Proverbs 3:1-2

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:  For length of days, and long life and peace, shall they add to thee.  King James Version

My son, never forget the things I've taught you.  If you want a long and satisfying life, closely follow my instructions.  The Living Bible

Write a prayer to the hand of Him who is the giver of life based on the memorized verse:

Thank you Jesus for your teachings through your word and my private time with you.  I pray that as I meditate on your word, that it will take root in my heart so that your word will be my first thought and reaction to any of life's situations.  Thank you for preserving my life so that as I grow older, I am wiser and fruitful in my everyday endeavors.

God wants me to live a life of obedience to His word so that I can have a long, peaceful and prosperous life that brings glory to His name.

God wants my life to be evident of obedience to the Word so that others will want to follow the teachings of life to have a long and prosperous life in this life and hereafter.

Deutoronemy 30:15-16

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.  King James Version

Look, today I have set before you life and death, depending on whether you obey or disobey.  I have commanded you today to love the Lord your God and to follow his paths and to keep his laws, so that you will live and become a great nation, and so that the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to possess.  The Living Bible

God's will is for me to live a life of rightousness on the earth which eventually leads to living my eternal life with Him in heaven.

Proverbs 8:33-35

Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the post of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.  King James Version
